Just Watched: Train to Busan

It takes me 4 years to finally watch Train to Busan! I have never been interested in any zombie shows or dramas. I mustered my strength when Kingdom and Kingdom 2 aired. Even so, I was too scared I watched them in broad daylight. Yeah, I am a chicken and wuss. I don’t do well with the horror genre. When I started to work from home due to COVID-19, one of the things my son and I decided to commit to watching different movies every night. Though my son cheated at times, I stick to the rule. Only unseen movies and of course, I suggested Train to Busan. I needed a friend!

Currently Watching: Suits (Korea)

Have you seen the original Suits? I have not since I do not have a cable and not a huge fan of English/American dramas. However, I jump immediately into this drama knowing that it is a remake. The Koreans did a fantastic job with The Good Wife and I expect nothing less with Suits. And my verdict so far? Bloody good! I also have heard that the Korean version is as good as the original. A few have dropped the show though because they were disgusted by Go Sung Hee’s character, Kim Ji Na. I know I do not want a love line in this show but a fling does no harm, right? *wink*

Currently Watching: My Golden Life

I have to admit now that KBS does great weekend dramas. I thought nothing would beat Father is Strange but they got me wrong again! Looks like I can never leave the weekend drama behind. It is time-consuming but I love investing my life watching family dramas no matter how stupid they are. I love the build-up stories for each character. I am nosy like that so I always want to be in the know of everything. And My Golden Life is no different. Many characters in this drama – some heartbroken, some greedy, some overwhelmingly nosy, some juvenile, some mature, some ambitious, some coward, and some just downright egoist.
