Currently Watching: Woman of 9.9 Billion

I was intrigued by my tlist’ tweets and vowed to watch it as soon as I got back from my last trip. What I had thought it would be one satisfying drama, I didn’t realize it also turn out to be one angry and stupid af drama too! I don’t know how many times I roll my eyes or slap my forehead. From one stupid plot or character to another stupid plot or character. I know what you are thinking. Why do I torture myself? Just drop it, Nelly. But… but… despite all that, it is quite addictive! Lord, I saw the first 8 episodes in one day! I just cannot and frankly, refuse to stop! What kind of addictive they put in Woman of 9.9 Billion?

Currently Watching: Possessed

Ever since I got back from my trip last month, I was not in the mood of watching any dramas except for Game of Thrones (GoT). I think GoT got me so hooked I did not want to watch anything else. But in the last season, I knew I should start a drama immediately. I did not want to be in a slump so I decided to start Possessed (and He is Psychometric). It is on Netflix if you decide to watch. The quality is super good! Initially, I was drawn to the genre but 7 episodes in, I realized I am drawn to the main leads too. They are definitely an odd pairing! Beauty and the Beast. Or I should say… Beauty and her Beast! Who would have thought it works out really well? And the best part of it? The chemistry between the actors! I am sold! Continue reading

Just Watched: Encounter aka Boyfriend

Yes, I finished Boyfriend and I am glad I did not drop it. To be honest, I really liked it. It was such a sweet drama and it was delightful to watch Park Bo Gum and Song Hye Kyo together. The slow pace is bothersome to some. I know that. Many drops because they could not see the chemistry between the pairing. I had my reservation as well with this pairing. Bo Gum did not disappoint me although I feel like he smiles way loads in this drama. Sometimes, I feel his character is a bit stalkerish but I get it. When you are in love, you want to be with the person you’re in love with 24/7. However, I also felt that he wasted his time in this drama even though I regretted saying it now when I saw his peak performance in episode 15. I can’t help but cheer for his awesome performance for a heartbroken man and son.

Currently Watching: Pretty Noona Buys Me Food

Yeah, I am here for Jung Hae In and Son Ye Jin. For the romance. For the heart flutter. For the cuteness. It is quite unusual for jTBC to produce a romance drama and I knew this is a must watch. At least it is for me. And this romance drama is a bit different than others. No cliches. No rich girl poor man OR rich man poor girl agenda here. The love is pure raw. The directing and acting are extremely balanced, casual and natural. They made this show with no Kdrama in mind. I like it.

Just Watched: Working Mother, Parenting Dad

Did you think I stop watching Korean daily dramas? Hell no! As the matter of fact, I am overwhelmed with an influx of subbed dailies these days! All of a sudden, I see many interests in dailies. And for the first time, I’m being picky! This is unheard of! I mean… Since when I started being picky with dailies, right? Really, Bel and I just couldn’t decide. Even Lena eonnie, too!
