Currently Watching: Once Again

eVpB8f

It has been a long time since I watch a family drama! I lied *laughs*. My last family drama was Never Twice but still… You know how much I love this genre! I can’t get enough of it. If Bel is around, she would be watching it with me. This time, I started Once Again. Well, you know why… Lee Sang Yeob, of course! I feel like winning a lottery again. Back to back dramas with him. He is so cute! I am 100% for him! Well, almost. As you know, there are many relationships to maneuver in a family drama. The inlaws. The parents. Husbands and wives. The children. Work relationship. Neighbors and friends. Once Again has it all.

Just Watched: Good Casting

ZknVLf

With all that happening around us, I found Good Casting saved me! First of all, the reason I started this drama was because of Lee Sang Yeob. Yes, I have been falling hard for him. Secondly, maybe because of my frequent absence on Twitter, I do not see much people tweeting it. I could be wrong… I did start it late though I finished it on time. But once I started this show, his character is not as important as the three lead. *coughs* Three Female Lead! Yeah, you heard me, right! I feel like this drama was made to poke fun on Charlie’s Angels. The similarity is apparent but the ladies are definitely unique.

Currently Watching: A Piece of Your Mind

A_Piece_of_Your_Mind-P1

I am apparently way behind on A Piece of Your Mind. Working from home has taken a toll on my body and brain. I just want to watch something mindless – like Youn’s Kitchen 2 which I just completed. Part of me does not want to watch this drama as quickly as I should not only because of my tiredness, but it is a drama that touches deep into my heart. As someone who recently lost a good friend which is Bel of NewKdramaAddict, this drama makes me realize I wish I have the technology to preserve her well being. Her voice. Her mind. Her calmness. Her memory. I wish this high tech device is available now. I would like a piece of it. Her daughters would appreciate it, too.

Just Watched: My P.S. Partner

92P42f

I have been meaning to watch this movie for the longest time. I finally had the time to watch when I was in the middle of nowhere in Bangladesh with a poor internet connection. This movie came in handy just because… I realized when I first started it, I was on the plane and my phone (yes, I was watching from my tiny screen) was visible to everyone. Ooops… that raunchy scene during the first 30 minutes got me shook a bit! Sorry, peeps!

Currently Watching: Misty

20180202173150

I fell under Misty spell last week. I could not stop watching it the minute I landed back to the States. Well, that sounds so dramatic! But you get my point *laughs*. I have been yearning for a Kdrama that could give me satisfactory as Prison Playbook and Money FlowerAs you all know, Misty ended today. I haven’t seen the final two episodes and have been avoiding Twitter like plague. I really do not need any spoilers today.

Currently Watching: Shopping King Louie

The last time I saw Seo In Guk, his drama High School King of Savvy received critical reviews. I mean, a teen who fell in love with a much older woman, definitely screams protest from all around. But to be on the fair side, she behaved like a high school kid, too. I enjoyed the drama for the most part and took the issue lightly. After all, it was only a drama and the ending was satisfying. I missed watching his I Remember You but I will certainly add this into my next to watch drama.

Back to Shopping King Louie, I was not planning on watching it. It got great reviews and to be honest, I was trying to find an alternative to Jealousy Incarnate. The show infuriates me with the tug-n-pull plots between the OTPs. Thank goodness Shopping King Louie isn’t like that. In fact, this show is so refreshing to watch even though it is quite predictable. Or not. You know me, I love to be surprised and pretend I know nothing *laughs*. Plus, I love amnesia. Not on me, of course!

Yes, amnesia is the main topic in this drama. Louie is the second generation chaebol but since his parents’ passing, his halmeoni placed her precious grandson far, far away from home. In Spain, to be exact. In a giant mansion. With maids and one loyal butler. Wow. When can I get a life like that? Wow. Louie is definitely spoiled. He does not have to lay a finger on anything. Whatever he want, his wish will be granted. Except for one. He doesn’t get his freedom. Being stuck in a mansion is a lonely life. His butler will chaperone him everywhere. Ok, now I don’t envy his life. Anyway, his uncle wants him dead. So he hired some bad bikers to kill Louie. Clearly because of the inheritance. Same old sh*t. Greedy family member. And Louie woke up forgetting who he is and where he should be. This is when the show gets funnier.

I really enjoy watching Seo In Guk as Louie. His casual acting really awe me. His cuteness, his silliness, his quirkiness really makes me happy! I must say this is his best role ever since Reply 1997. You must watch him. He speaks cute Spanish. He speaks cute French. And the way he carries himself as Louie is squee-worthy. It almost feels as if the role is meant for In Guk.

Okay, let’s be frank. There is nothing new with the story. The happy ending is almost predictable. But what I love about this drama is the acting. So carefree and funny. The scrips were well written. And the OST, oh my I’m totally in love with all the songs in this drama. I need to buy or download it soon. You should, too!!!! Anyway, Shopping King Louie is a must watch fall drama. With three episodes left, I can’t see how the writer will screw this up. Really I can’t. I’m currently watching episode 13 and this show still makes me laugh out loud!
