Honestly, I never thought of falling for Designated Survivor: 60 Days this much. I never heard of the original one until I started this drama. I am considering now after being so engrossed with the Korean version. I don’t do political drama and when I do, it mostly sageuk kind. So it is refreshing to watch modern politics in a drama. I was on the fence starting it but got super addicted as soon as I started the first episode. Never would I thought I would love it so much. I just completed the last episode and A and I cried because of the ending. I am hoping that this show will get a second season. But will it?
Yeah, I don’t think I can go on any further! I gave the benefit of the doubt with Jin Se Yeon and hoped that her acting improves. I was persistent. I kept telling myself that it will get better and better. 10 episodes later, I started to realize if I continue to watch it, I will be fooling myself. Since my time is precious, I will drop it immediately. Se Yeon really ruin it for me because the story is fascinating and the acting by the rest of the main cast is top notch! But I have to drop it! I must because of Jin Se Yeon! Continue reading
Well, as a (kinda huge) Lee Jong Suk fan, of course, I could not miss the world to watch him in While You Were Sleeping. In fact, the first episode was so impressive that I even considered doing a crazy recap like I did for W with Mari and Erl. I knew I was being ridiculous and too ambitious. I can’t even keep up with my regular blogging! Okay, back to Lee Jong Suk. Yeah, he is a darling and his goofiness since episode 1 really entertaining and his puppy smile… I can’t help but melt into gooey caramel. He is choooo cute!
I have not been watching sageuk dramas for months and I purposely saving it for the best! For my Yoo Seung Ho *wink*. And the wait is worth my time! I am enjoying this drama from the beginning until now. I have been on top of it and seriously, I just can’t get enough of it. I do notice a few people dropping this show because they found it frustrating, tiresome and disappointing. Putting my bias aside, I just can’t find Ruler to be tiresome and disappointing. Frustrating? Perhaps. I would blame the writer for going around in circles. Also, it rocks people’s interest differently.
