Currently Watching: Hotel del Luna

I was not keen on starting Hotel del Luna at first. Maybe because at the time, I was still recovering from my illness. And when I started watching the first episode, I did not get a good vibe. Not only it is because of Hong sisters’ drama, I feared that the drama reminded me of Goblin even though it was not written by them. Mimi from The Talking Cupboard pointed out to me of Master’s Sun instead and I immediately cannot deny the similarity. The glamorous set. The richness. The beautiful cast. The luxurious brands. Yup, I can’t deny this drama won my heart now. Either way, I feel that it is a marriage of two dramas which to be honest resulted in a very interesting and engaging fantasy drama.

Currently Watching: Suits (Korea)

Have you seen the original Suits? I have not since I do not have a cable and not a huge fan of English/American dramas. However, I jump immediately into this drama knowing that it is a remake. The Koreans did a fantastic job with The Good Wife and I expect nothing less with Suits. And my verdict so far? Bloody good! I also have heard that the Korean version is as good as the original. A few have dropped the show though because they were disgusted by Go Sung Hee’s character, Kim Ji Na. I know I do not want a love line in this show but a fling does no harm, right? *wink*

Just Watched: Prison Playbook

I should have listened to Michele but at the time I was too obsessed with Money Flower to care about other dramas. Plus, as one of my goal of 2018 is to reduce watching currently airing drama, I was able to commit to few dramas at a time. So two weeks ago, while I was alone at home being sick, I decided to watch a drama. Plex was down at the time and I had no choice but to go to Netflix. I saw Prison Playbook on the Recommended list. The drama was calling me and… the next thing I knew, I fell into the Prison trap.
