Just Watched: Sweet Home

Aaahhhh I finally completed Sweet Home! While my son was content with the ending, I was not. Please do not get me wrong, it ended on a high note! And it was so insane!!! However, it made me feel that the writer(s), director(s), and producers purposely ended the show like that to make room for an opportunity for another season. As of last night, Sweet Home’s producer and Netflix have not reached a consensus on season 2. They should talk to me. Sweet Home is so good a season 2 is a must to wrap the show nicely. So Netflix, if you are reading this, please please please agree to another season! I mean… data shows that this drama got 20 million viewers! What is there to think about? 

Just Dropped: Private Lives

Well, I have seen 7 episodes and I began to debate whether I should proceed or drop the show. As you know, the election got on my nerves and I was living on edge back in November. Even today, I found myself rolling my eyes when I saw Mr. Trump declared that the election was fraudulent and he is the actual winner. Lord have mercy… I can’t wait for January now. So you can see why I was debating… Private Lives began airing during the peak of the election so I just could not focus. I knew that if a drama does not grip my heart, I should move on. I hate to do this to Private Lives. I love a great swindler’s drama but now that the drama is over, my heart still has not changed…

Currently Watching: Stranger 2

 

Ever since I completed the first season Stranger (aka Secret Forest) 3 years ago, I knew immediately that this show deserves a comeback. Though I am not as aggressive as others, I did not imagine we actually would get another season! And the best of all, the same casts! If I could slap my face, I would! To see Prosecutor Hwang Shi Mok and Senior Inspector Han Yeo Jin back on my screen is a good feeling! Well, not forgetting… Seo Dong Jae and Jang Geon. But unlike the first one, in this season, the writer and PD-nim lined up very stellar actors! I was so giddy to see Jeon Hye Jin and Yoon Se Ah. My two awesome ladies… *claps*

Just Watched: Into The Ring

Ever since I saw Nana in The Good Wife, I immediately fell for her talent. I love her acting so much. She’s a natural. I enjoyed her in Kill It, too. If Bel is here, she would nod her head. Sadly, she missed Into The Ring. She would have loved it especially the dry humor and sarcastic elements. It would crack her up as it did with me. I found this drama is so refreshing though I almost dropped it because the first two episodes were so booooooooooring! I powered it through because of Nana *laughs*. 

Just Watched: Encounter aka Boyfriend

Yes, I finished Boyfriend and I am glad I did not drop it. To be honest, I really liked it. It was such a sweet drama and it was delightful to watch Park Bo Gum and Song Hye Kyo together. The slow pace is bothersome to some. I know that. Many drops because they could not see the chemistry between the pairing. I had my reservation as well with this pairing. Bo Gum did not disappoint me although I feel like he smiles way loads in this drama. Sometimes, I feel his character is a bit stalkerish but I get it. When you are in love, you want to be with the person you’re in love with 24/7. However, I also felt that he wasted his time in this drama even though I regretted saying it now when I saw his peak performance in episode 15. I can’t help but cheer for his awesome performance for a heartbroken man and son.

Currently Watching: Secret Forest

I finally able to start this glorious drama everyone has been raving about. I was either getting ready or already started my traveling when it first began airing. I was full of envy and jealousy that my Twitter friends could watch it and I couldn’t. But now the show has ended and they all are in withdrawal stage while me, enjoying every minute of it. In fact, I even spamming and tweeting madness whenever I get a chance. Some friend I am, huh? *laughs*
